April 13 - 17 - Week 2
Parents, feel free to take pictures of your child doing the activities or their completed work and email to their teacher!
Remember: Please do what you can, but be flexible if it doesn't work. If you notice that your child is struggling, try together, don't get frustrated and end with a smile.
Spread Community Cheer
Monday
It is a school holiday today. There are no specific tasks for the day, but just like every day, enjoy free play - build with lego, blocks and more. Colour or paint a picture. Explore the neighborhood (while maintaining physical distance).
Tuesday
Make a poster to brighten someones day. Make it bright and colourful and don't forget to add kind words or messages. Could you post this on a telephone pole or mailbox to spread some cheer. What would you write to make someone smile?
Wednesday
Go outside and find some rocks to decorate. Use markers or paints to make your rocks beautiful. Take a little walk with your family to hide your rocks in visible places for others to find and enjoy.
Thursday
If you have not already, make hearts for your window. Go on a neighborhood walk with your family and count how many hearts you can see in windows.
Friday
Make a "kindness card" with a sweet message and nice pictures. Find a neighbor that you know and put your card on their doorstep for them to find.
