Activities

April 13 - 17 - Week 2

Parents, feel free to take pictures of your child doing the activities or their completed work and email to their teacher!

Remember:  Please do what you can, but be flexible if it doesn't work.  If you notice that your child is struggling, try together, don't get frustrated and end with a smile.

Monday

It is a school holiday today.  There are no specific tasks for the day, but just like every day, make sure that you do some reading!

Tuesday

Check email for your LOGIN TO RAZ KIDS.  Login, play around and email your teacher with any questions.

Write in your journal.  Did you do anything over the weekend?  Did you celebrate Easter? Did you have a family dinner?  If not, you can make up a story, or write about anything you love.

Try to write 2-3 sentences

Make sure it is EASY TO READ (finger spaces, neat printing) and has INTERESTING details.

Parents, our students are used to writing independently, please give them some time to try to spell what they can and do their own work - the way they would in the classroom

Wednesday
Thursday

Login to Raz Kids and spend some time reading.  15 minutes a day is recommended.

Listen to Mrs. Renneberg read the story "In my Room" by Jo Witek.  Take some time, pause the story and make some predictions (what do you think is going to happen next?).  Share your predictions with someone else.

Think about the story "In my Room" by Jo Witek.  Listen to it again if you need to.  Draw a picture and write a sentence or 2 about who you would pretend to be on a piece of paper or in your journal.
